Quick look at Hawaii
Welcome to paradise! On the relaxing Hawaiian islands you will find plenty of things to do, such as golf, tennis and all sorts of water sports, including surfing and snorkelling. After a day of these activities the only place to go is to your hotel in Hawaii. When looking for a Hawaii hotel think about the time you will be visiting. The cheapest time for hotels is April to mid-December, as most people from the northern hemisphere are escaping the cold weather in December, January and February.

Of all the islands, Hawaii is the largest. If you took all the other islands and combined them, you still wouldn't have a land mass half of this island. There are endless activities to do here, such as hiking around the volcanoes and seeing Kilauea, the world's most active volcano. You can also go fishing for marlin or stick to the west side of the island for the beaches and swimming.
Maui is where you'll find the kings of beaches and large resorts, as it is the second largest island, and the most developed. The best food the island has to offer is at the resort hotels, but there are a few local places where you can get a nice rack of barbecued ribs or a roast duck, as well as other local favourites.
If you're an avid golfer, these islands are a place for you with courses open year-round. Kauai has some beautiful courses, and the surroundings could not be better. The water around Kauai is clear, inviting and perfect for swimming, but beware of the high surf.
Explore the only royal palace in America in Honolulu, on the island of Oahu. Be sure to also see China town, which is just a few blocks away. The market there is not to be missed. There are also many temples, shops and antique stores, making for endless shopping!
Your Hawaiian trip wouldn't be complete with out visiting Waikiki. You can experience it all at this gorgeous white sandy beach: activities abound with canoeing, Japanese tea ceremonies, luaus and hula lessons. Spend some time at Diamond Head, a tuff cone and crater formed by steam from underground volcanic activity. In the evening after the beach has emptied a little, head down for a walk under the starlit sky.
